Effective first day of residency.  Prescription plan is included with health plan.

Disability:
Short Term Disability provided through contract as a salary guarantee through end of the contract year.  Information on how to purchase Long Term Disability through Carle is available from Hospital Human Resources.

Disability Insurance:
Short Term Disability provided through contract as a salary guarantee through end of the contract year.  Information on how to purchase Long Term Disability Insurance through Carle is available from Hospital Human Resources.

Life Insurance:
Residents receive term life of $15,000 or an amount equal to annual earnings, whichever is greater.  

Malpractice Insurance:
Including tail insurance

Employee Assistance provides professional counseling to employees

Employee Occupational Health provides medical care when needed due to work related injuries or exposure.

Faculty position at the University of Illinois College of Medicine – Urbana.

Fitness Center - $10 initial fee and $5/pay period for individuals; $20 fee and $7.50/pay period for families

Intramural Physical Education (IMPE) Building – University of Illinois Faculty Card allows use of this facility on the UI campus.

Free Parking provided in Doctors’ lot.

Daycare available on-site at “The Caring Place”
