Carle Foundation Hospital is a not-for-profit 305-bed regional care hospital located in Urbana, Illinois. It is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana Champaign. It is the area’s only Level I Trauma Center and Co-Perinatal Center. Carle Physician Group (CPG) is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 350 physicians practicing in more than 50 specialties and subspecialties. With 10 branch clinics in surrounding communities, CPG meets the healthcare needs of east central Illinois. Within the CPG, the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery outpatient unit operates fives days/week and sees nearly 15,000 patient visits annually, with over 1,750 IV sedations and General Anesthetics administered for over 3,750 procedures/year.
