About Carle Foundation Hospital

Carle Foundation Hospital is a not-for-profit 305-bed regional care hospital located in Urbana, Illinois. It is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana Champaign. It is the area’s only Level I Trauma Center and Co-Perinatal Center. The hospital includes 25 departments including surgical, cardiovascular and neonatal ICU facilities.

Carle Clinic Association is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 300 physicians practicing in more than 50 specialties and subspecialties. With 10 branch clinics in surrounding communities, Carle Clinic Association meets the healthcare needs of east central Illinois. Within the Clinic, the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery outpatient unit operates fives days/week and sees nearly 15,000 patient visits annually, with over 1750 IV sedations and General Anesthetics administered for over 3750 procedures/year.
