Time
: varies; multiple small group sessions and on-line self study
Purpose: To provide family practice and internal medicine physicians with assistance to analyze data on patients with diabetes and make changes in practice aimed at improving clinical outcomes. This activity will follow the 3 stage process as outlined by the AMA PRA. This activity is funded through an educational grant from Pfizer to the Association of Hospital Medical Education (AHME) to support Performance Improvement CME (PI CME) activities for AHME member institutions. AHME retains full control over the distribution of individual grants under this collaborative grant program. The Physicians' Institute for Excellence in Medicine serves as the manager for these activities. 2010 Chair- Bharat Gopal, MD

Fees: $90.00 (Residents and Students $45.00)

Back Care Forum - Thursday, October 14, 2010

Purpose: To offer a common forum for both the allopathic and chiropractic communities of practice to gather and to share professional knowledge for the improvement of patient care.
Targeted Audience: Primary care allopathic and osteopathic physicians, chiropractors, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapist, athletic trainers and advanced practitioners.

Purpose: Foundation Day is a CME activity for area physicians and advanced practitioners featuring external guest speakers and local faculty discussing topics of interest to both the primary care and specialty provider. 2010 Co-chairs are Kirk Moberg, MD, Phd and Bharat Gopal, MD.
Targeted Audience: Physicians, surgeons, chiropractors, podiatrists, psychologists, physician assistants and advanced practice nurses..
Fees: No Fee
