Patient Satisfaction and Service Quality
Customer Satisfaction Measurement at Carle
Carle welcomes and encourages customer service feedback from our patients.
All patients have the opportunity to let us know how we're doing through a
patient satisfaction survey process developed by Press Ganey, a national company
specializing in healthcare patient satisfaction measurement.
All hospital and emergency room patients are sent a customer satisfaction
survey after discharge. Results are tabulated and tracked monthly, quarterly and annually
for each department and for the hospital as a whole. In addition to our
own scores, our results are compared to national averages in order to give us a
sense of how we compare to similar facilities around the country.
- More than 90% of patients rank the hospital as "good" or "very good"
- More than 94% of patients would recommend the hospital to others
- Carle SurgiCenters in Champaign and Danville achieved a 90% satisfaction
rating
- Carle Food Service achieved a national top 10% ranking of all hospital
food service departments
