Education Assistance @ Carle

Education is vital - to you, to Carle and to health care.

That’s why Carle Foundation Hospital has designed a variety of financial assistance programs - to help you help us provide even better care.

Tuition Assistance: $4,000 a year - for your education!
Carle provides full pre-paid assistance for tuition and fees for work related classes - up to $4,000 per year! Employees are eligible for tuition assistance for the next semester that begins after completion of 6 months of service.

Carle Scholarship/Loans: You choose the program. You choose the school. We pay the bill.
Carle offers financial assistance for a variety of accredited health career programs at the institution of your choice. Upon completion of your degree program, the loans may be repaid by "service credit" through employment at The Carle Foundation. Maximum scholarship loan amounts vary by program:

  • Pharmacy - Up to $24,000
  • Occupational Therapy - Up to $15,000
  • Physical Therapy - Up to $18,000
  • Speech Pathology - Up to $15,000
  • Nursing - Up to $7,500
  • Radiology Technician - Up to $6,000
  • Respiratory Therapy - Up to $6,000
  • Surgical Technology - Up to $6,000
  • Physical Therapy Assistant - Up to $6,000
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Up to $5,000

The Carle Foundation Scholars at Parkland
Learn from some of the best in the area. Come grow with Carle when you graduate.

The Carle Foundation scholars at Parkland program offers financial assistance for Parkland College health career students PLUS a job at Carle Foundation Hospital after graduation. Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $2,500 available each year for two years. Eligible degree programs include:

  • Nursing
  • EMT/Paramedic
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Respiratory Therapy
  • Radiologic Technology
  • Surgical Technology
