What are your hours?
The Human Resource Office is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Human Resource Office is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

How do I get to Carle Foundation Human Resources?

Foundation Human Resources is located at 301 S. Vine St.,  suite 211 in the Lincoln Square Mall in Urbana. Maps and directions to our office are provided here.

Questions about Applications

How do I apply for a position?
You must apply using our online application system.  To do this, go to www.carlecareers.com and click on “job opportunities”.  You will then see instructions for using our application system.

Can I apply for more than one position on the same application?
You may apply for multiple positions using our online application system, but you will have to submit separate applications for each.  You will be able to copy over your previous application so that you do not have to start from scratch each time.

I submitted an application; how can I be considered for another position?
You can apply for another position using our online application system.

How do I know my status in the application process?
You can check on your status in the application process by selecting “Application Status” on our job opportunities page.  Your status will then be emailed to you.  You will be notified as decisions are made regarding your progression through the selection process.

Questions about Positions

How often are positions updated on the Web site?
Positions are updated daily.

What is the salary range for the posted position?
The salary range will be discussed during the interview in Human Resources.

What is "flex" status?
Flex time employees are normally scheduled for at least 40 hours per pay period(every two weeks). However, on any given pay period, they may be scheduled from 0 to 80 hours, depending on the needs of the institution.  Flex Status works well for employees who are willing to work full time, but do not need the guaranteed income of full-time status.

What is "prn" status?
PRN employees are not normally scheduled any hours. However, they are available to work as mutually agreed between the employer and the employee.

Do you have any positions that allow me to work from my home?
No, not at this time.

Do you have any temporary or summer only positions?
No, not at this time.
