Carle Co-Perinatal CenterThese days you'll find a lot of things designed for your baby's safety. But none may be more important than the team at Carle's Co-Perinatal Center. This specially trained team provides Level III Perinatal Services and is available 24 hours a day. That means if you have a high-risk pregnancy or pre-term delivery, they'll be here for you and your baby. What does Level III Perinatal Services mean?The State of Illinois requires all hospitals to determine the specific level of care they would like to provide to pregnant mothers and newborns. There are four levels of care possible through the state of Illinois. Carle Foundation Hospital is pleased to be able to provide care as a Level III Perinatal Service, the highest level of state designation. The Level III TeamCarle's Level III Perinatal Services team includes physician specialists in neonatology, obstetrics and OB anesthesia in-house, 24 hours a day, every day. Plus we have a maternal fetal medicine specialist on staff who is immediately available. Additional specialists include physicians on staff that are board-certified in pediatric ophthalmology, nephrology, medical genetics, otolaryngology, pulmonology, gastroenterology and neurology. |
