MAMA - Mentoring
Adolescent Mother to Achieve
MAMA is a mentoring program where pregnant teens are
paired up with female college students. The student mentors make weekly
calls to the teen mothers throughout their pregnancies. They provide them
with support and encouragement to get prenatal care, to supplement their
prenatal education and to help plan for the future.
This community service program is offered by Carle
Foundation Hospital and is free of charge.
