Peripheral Vascular Center

Patients with peripheral vascular disease (PVD) can now benefit from a coordinated, interdisciplinary management approach at Carle. The Peripheral Vascular Center streamlines the often complex evaluation and treatment patients suffering from PVD.  The Peripheral Vascular Center sees patients with vascular disease and its complications, including stroke due to carotid artery disease, aneurysm, vascular disease of the extremities, varicose veins and renal artery disease.

The Center brings together physicians interested in vascular disease to provide integrated, multidisciplinary care in one location. Now Carle patients can see a team of specialists – vascular surgeons, cardiologists, interventional radiologists, vascular nurses and others – all in one place. This can lead to improved patient outcomes, more convenience and fewer trips to the doctor.

The Carle Heart Center and Vascular Lab offer a full range of diagnostic testing.  Treatments include the newest techniques, such as endovascular repair of aortic aneurysm with Stent graft, as well as peripheral artery stenting, all types of conventional vascular surgery procedures, including open aneurysm repair and extremity revascularization as well as creation of vascular access for hemodialysis.

The Peripheral Vascular Center physician team includes:
