OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE

		Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs)     Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) are completed by an Occupational Medicine physician and include a thorough file review and physical examination. We use IME Create, a web-based software to organize and prepare our reports.
Independent medical evaluations are requested for a variety of purposes, including: Medical case resolution Prolonged medical care extending beyond estimated treatment plan for injury Definition of causal relationship between injury and diagnosis Providing recommendation regarding excessive treatment or medication IMEs can be scheduled at the Urbana main campus, Bloomington-Normal and Danville sites. Carle Occupational Medicine can also coordinate independent medical evaluations with other specialists within the Carle system.
