Carle has developed a coordinated care network
to treat workers' compensation injuries and illnesses. A
select group of Carle physicians have been trained to
understand the specific needs of business and industry. The
training ensures timely appointments, appropriate work
restrictions and a better understanding of the return-to-work
process.
In addition to physicians, Carle's
Coordinated Care Network includes mid-level providers,
rehabilitation, occupational and physical therapists and case
coordinators. The care is seamless and protects the employability
and productivity of the injured employee.
If an injured employee requires specialty care,
they will be referred to physicians who have been trained to
understand the complex issues of a work related injury.

work together to provide quality care and services to their patients.
Carle Clinic Association and Carle Foundation Hospital contract with insurance
providers separately and may or may not choose to participate in all of the same insurance
plans. Patients are urged to check with their insurance carriers as to whether services
are covered for either or both organizations.
