We can help
provide training to your workforce through Resolutions' onsite
educational workshop program!
EAP Resolutions is offering
customized onsite educational workshops to your employees and
leadership personnel. With over 15 years of experience in designing
and presenting educational workshops, our training staff can assist
companies in remaining up to date on the ever-changing business
environment. Our onsite workshops are designed to minimize work
disruptions and are available for 1st, 2nd and
3rd shift personnel.
Each workshop
can be customized to meet your company’s needs and can be tailored
to focus on either general staff training or supervisory training.
Examples of these workshops include:

development to improve workplace interactions and reduce on-the-job
miscommunication.

management styles and outlines different options to manage conflict
more effectively.

ramifications of harassment, and outlines techniques for preventing
and controlling harassment in the workplace.

symptoms of stress and change, and discusses various ways of
managing the change process more effectively. Company changes come
in many forms, including downsizing, layoffs, relocation, etc.

Training (supervisory focus):
For public sector employers with 50 or more full or part-time
workers, VESSA (Victim’s Economic Security and Safety Act) requires
that companies provide victims of domestic violence up to 12 weeks
of unpaid leave and reasonable accommodations within a 12-month
period. This workshop will provide an overview of the Act and
employer responsibilities, and educate participants on domestic
violence, including its signs and symptoms.
Customized topics: The EAP consultant will work with your company to tailor an onsite
educational program to meet your needs.
To encourage
active participation, the total number of attendees per workshop will be limited
to 30.
The cost for a two-hour workshop is $250. This
includes training time, materials, travel within a 40-mile radius of
Urbana and certificates of completion. Additional training time for
each workshop is available at a rate of $125/hour, and travel over
40 miles will require a mileage charge based on the federal
reimbursement rate.
