American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org)
Includes general information about cancer, specific types of cancer, and current research. Also includes information on local state affiliates.

National Cancer Institute (www.nci.nih.gov)
A Component of the National Institutes of Health which focuses on cancer research and training. Provides a broad range of information on cancer and related issues including a detailed definition of cancer trials.

National Center for Complementary & Alternative Medicine (NCCAM)
A component of the National Institutes of Health which conducts and supports basic and applied research and training on complementary and alternative medicines. It provides information on complementary and alternative medicine to practitioners and the public.
